Geneviève Boulet
Geneviève studied dance at L’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal (formerly LADMMI). Right after graduating in 2006, she collaborates with the choreographer Roger Sinha. Between 2006 and 2009, she works with Lucie Grégoire, Lina Cruz, Georges-Nicolas Temblay, and participate to the Projet Osez! four times, through which she meets Shaula Cambazzu (Belgium), Mélanie Demers and Louise Bédard. She joined Ismaël Mouaraki’s company, Destins Croisés, in 2009. She is also an interpreter for Fleuve|Espace danse since 2009. She recently performed Pow Wow, the latest creation of Dany Desjardins at Théâtre La Chapell, and Rusalka at the Opera of Montréal.
Karine Gagné
Born in Sept-Îles, Karine graduated at L’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal (formerly LADMMI) in 2007. She collaborated with Julie Lebel (Solo, Quatuor à corps en F majeur, Relevé le terrain), Anne Thériault (Annexe 2, La physique) and, in 2012, with La Compagnie de la Tourmente of Marie-Julie Asselin in the production Victor et Rémi. She has been in every production of Fleuve| Espace danse since 2009.
Clémentine Schindler
She graduated in 2010 from l’École Supérieure de Ballet Contemporain de Montréal. Clémentine worked with various choreographers such Shawn Hounsell, Hélène Blackburn, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Gael Domenger and took part in several national and international tours. In 2010, she is involved in the creation of Variations S of Cas Public. In 2011, she joins Fleuve|Espace danse.
Oliver Koomsatira
Oliver participated in 107 productions, amounting to 739 représentations and 153 000 spectators in total. He danced for numerous companies including Sursaut, Fleuve|Espace danse, La Compagnie de la Tourmente, Willie Dorner, Claude Pilon and Héloïse Depocas. He went on tours with Dynamo Théâtre and The Jungle Book from Geordie Productions in the role de Mowgli for which, in 2008, he received the Elsa Bolam Award «in recognition of outstanding achievement by an emerging theatre artist ».
Ellen Furey
She studied dance at the School of Toronto Dance Theatre and music/drama at the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts. In Toronto, she performed at the Capitol Theatre, the 1000 Island’s Playhouse and for films and television. Since she moved in Montreal in 2011, she dances for Chantal Caron (Fleuve | Espace danse), Stéphane Gladyszewski, Paula de Vasconcelos (Pigeons International) and Susanna Hood (Humdansoundart). She will be part of the 2012/2013 season of Dancemakers in Toronto. In 2012, she creates JOHN CAGE : sonates en mouvements with the pianist Daniel Gaspard.
Tom Casey
Since 1991, Tom danced for, among others, Sinha Danse, Louise Bédard Danse, Corpuscule Danse, Montanaro danse, Winnipeg’s Contemporary dancers and Le Cirque du Soleil. He also worked under the direction of Jean-Pierre Perreault, Pierre-Paul Savoie, Lina Cruz, Karine Ledoyen, and many others. He dances for Fleuve | Espace danse since 2011.
Simon Ampleman
Simon graduated from L’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal (formerly LADMMI.) Over the past few years, he had the opportunity to dance for the Opera of Montreal and under the direction of Hélène Blackburn, Harold Rhéaume, Karine Ledoyen, Lucie Grégoire and Emmanuel Jouthe. He is currently dancing for Destins Croisés, Fleuve|Espace danse and for the improv-mouvement ligue Les Imprudanses. He co-founded the company Extrada with Émilie Demers.
Marie-Pier Morin
Marie-Pier graduated from l’École de danse de Québec in 2006. She worked with the choreographers Emmanuel Jouthe, Jamie Wright, Marie-Julie Asselin, Lynda Gaudreau (Out of grace) and for th Fleuve | Espace Danse (Les Baigneuses, La Noce Opus I, Comme une odeur de Varech, 73° nord). In 2010, the in situ production Lumerelle marks a first collaboration with Johanne Laurendeau. In 2011, they present their latest creation, Quatre chemins, at the Théâtre Hector-Charland de L’Assomption.
David Campbell
David Campbell begins his professional studies in classical ballet at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, followed by training at L’école de danse contemporaine de Montréal (formerly LADMMI). During his formations, he interprets original creations from many Quebecer choreographers (Sylvain Émard, Dominique Porte, Marc Boivin) along with contemporary and classical repertory. In July 2011, he takes part to Bodies in Urban Spaces from Willi Dormer, presented at the TransAmérique Festival in Montréal. He also danced for Fente-toi! and Une grande fente pour dire «allô» from the young choreographer Isabelle Boulanger. In July 2012, he collaborates to Minutes Complètement Cirque, for the 3rd edition of Montréal Complètement Cirque. David Campbell has now been part of O Vertigo for two seasons, and joined Fleuve | Espace danse in December 2012.
